Consumers file complaint against MISO’s cost allocation methodology

The Industrial Energy Consumers of America (IECA), the Coalition of Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) Transmission Customers, and LS Power Midcontinent, LLC, jointly filed a complaint with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) against MISO, concerning its cost allocation methodology in its Open Access Transmission, Energy and Operating Reserve Markets Tariff for baseline reliability projects.

New Jersey introduces Bill to allow competition for open access offshore wind transmission facilities

New Jersey regulators have signed Bill S-3985/A-5663 to amend the "Electric Discount and Energy Competition Act" to add the definition of "open access offshore wind transmission facility" and revise the law concerning "qualified offshore wind projects".

Mexican CFE awards cable contract worth USD38 million to Prysmian Group

Prysmian Group, an Italian multinational dedicated to the manufacture of cables and transmission systems for the electricity and telecommunications industries, has been awarded a new contract worth about USD38 million by the Mexican state-owned power utility, Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) for the project “Proyecto de Conectividad Fibra Óptica Red Eléctrica Inteligente REI” in Mexico.

Indian RSDCL seeks bids for construction of power lines for Nokh solar park
