The Missouri Supreme Court decided to uphold the decision of Missouri Court of Appeals for the Eastern District to affirm a decision by state Public Service Commission (PSC) to approve the Grain Belt Express transmission project, which is a proposed transmission line stretching from the Indiana–Illinois border to southwest Kansas.

Serbia’s state-owned transmission system operator (TSO), Elektromreza Srbije (EMS), has signed a EUR13.5 million contract with the consortium of local Koda Elektromontaža doo, Elektromontaža doo, and Elnos BL for the construction of 400 kV line linking the Kragujevac 2 and Kraljevo 3 substations.

ABB to expand Toshka 2 substation under second phase of 500 kV Egypt–Sudan link

The Swedish-Swiss power and automation technology company, ABB, was recently awarded a contract by the Egyptian El Sewedy Electric T&D for the expansion of the Toshka 2 substation under the second phase of the 500 kV Egypt–Sudan Interconnection Project. Elsewedy bagged the contract for the expansion of the Toshka 2 substation in November 2019.
