  China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Company Limited (CET), a subsidiary of China’s largest transmission system operator (TSO) State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) has signed a USD1 billion loan agreement with the Ethiopia’s state-owned vertically integrated power utility Ethiopian Electric Power Corporation (EEPCo) for the construction of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) power transmission line project.
