Wataynikaneyap Power selects PowerTel to construct Pikangikum Distribution Line Project

Canadian Wataynikaneyap Power, a transmission company equally owned by 22 First Nations communities and Fortis, has selected Canada-based PowerTel Utilities Contractors Limited (PowerTel), to construct Pikangikum Distribution Line Project, which will connect Pikangikum First Nation to Ontario's power grid in Red Lake.

Sacyr Industrial receives USD41 million contract in Chile

Sacyr Industrial, the industrial infrastructure engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects’ arm of Spanish civil engineering group Sacyr has received EPC contracts in a consortium with Spain-based ISOTRON SA, an EPC company, for the construction of 220 kV electrical substations, totaling USD41 million in Chile.
