November 28, 2019

Brazilian electric power transmission firm, Transmissora Alianca de Energia Eletrica SA (TAESA), has adopted a collaborative, real-time platform based on Cloud computing storage, in order to better manage the construction of around 600 km of 500 kV lines and associated network under a project won during Auction no. 17 in October 2016.

Developed by Construtivo, a local IT company focused on software for the engineering industry, the Colaborativo suite will be used to manage documentation and contracts related to these construction works.

The project involves construction of the 500 kV, 304 km, Bom Jesus da Lapa II–Janaúba 3 line; 500 kV, 283 km, Janaúba 3–Pirapora 2 C1 line; and Janaúba 3 substation; all of which will ensure the transmission of electricity to 18 municipalities between the south of Bahia and the north of Minas Gerais.
