EGEMAC bags EGP1.1 billion substation contract in Egypt [free access]

Egyptian Germany Electric Manufacturing Company (EGEMAC) has won a contract worth EGP1.1 billion for construction of five transformer substations for the Egyptian New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA).

 

EGEMAC will implement two substations in New Cairo, one in Badr, a 66 kV substation in Qena, and a 220 kV substation in Obour.

 

Reportedly, NUCA is preparing the contract to be signed by both the parties by next month. The duration of the contract is set between 10 and 12 months.
