Italy’s Terna to work with Prysmian for 220 kV grid repair [free access]

Italian Prysmian Group has been awarded a framework agreement as a lead contractor in the Temporary Association of Companies involving local civil engineering companies CEBAT S.r.l. and Elettrovit S.r.l.

 

The scope of the contract involves the supply, installation and emergency repairs on the 220 kV cables of Terna, which is required to upgrade the national power grid.

 

As reported, the turnkey project, worth about EUR50 million, will last for three years, with an option to extend it in terms of time and value.
